Lawton, OK – Week four of the Lawton Citizens Academy gave participants a firsthand look at the work of the Lawton Fire Department.
Fire Chief Jared Williams and his team provided a hands-on experience, allowing attendees to ride in the bucket of a ladder truck, spray water from fire hoses, and use the jaws of life.
The session offered participants a glimpse into the challenges and responsibilities firefighters face while serving and protecting the community.
City officials thanked the Lawton Fire Department for hosting the event and making the week an engaging and memorable part of the academy.
