Oklahoma – Governor Kevin Stitt announced that the Parental Choice Tax Credit window is now open for the 2025-2026 school year.
Oklahoma residents can apply for a tax credit of up to $7,500 to send their child to a private school.
Additionally, a $1,000 tax credit is available for families with homeschooled students.
Oklahomans interested in taking advantage of these credits are encouraged to enroll now by visiting parentalchoice.ok.gov.
This initiative is part of the state’s continued support for educational options and parental choice in schooling.
The Parental Choice Tax Credit program provides a refundable income tax credit of $5,000-$7,500 for eligible Oklahoma Taxpayers who pay, or expect to pay, qualified expenses such as tuition and fees to an eligible private school on behalf of an eligible student that attends or plans to attend an eligible private school during that tax year.
