LAWTON, Okla. — Authorities are investigating a fatal crash that occurred just outside of Fletcher, Oklahoma, on the HE Bailey Turnpike. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) reported that the collision took place a little after 11 a.m. on Monday, January 14.
According to OHP, Jennifer Collier, a 36-year-old woman from Choctaw, was driving one of the vehicles involved in the crash. Tragically, she was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the other driver has not been released, but they were taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. OHP officials say the second driver is in stable condition.
The cause of the crash is currently under investigation, and OHP has not released further details at this time. Authorities are working to piece together the events that led to the deadly accident.
