Lawton, OK – Crews have been working near Hugh Bish Elementary School to rebuild the crosswalk and install new handicap-accessible ramps.
The project is part of the Crosswalks to Classrooms initiative, which aims to make school zones safer and more welcoming for students and families.
Workers are finishing road repairs and plan to start painting the new crosswalk on Friday, October 17, 2025, weather permitting.
