LAWTON, Okla. – A two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Cache Road and 38th Street caused a temporary traffic backup on Saturday night. The Lawton Police Department responded to the scene around 9:15 p.m.
According to initial reports, one person sustained injuries in the crash, and a pregnant woman was involved. Lawton police officials confirmed that the collision involved two vehicles.
Lt. Charles Whittington, speaking on behalf of the department, stated that the individuals involved in the accident were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
At this time, no charges have been filed related to the incident. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
