Inmate Walks Away from Oklahoma City Corrections Facility, Authorities Seek Public’s Help

Lawton, OK — The Oklahoma Department of Corrections is actively searching for an inmate who unlawfully left the Clara Waters Community Corrections Center in Oklahoma City on Thursday morning.

Caleb Fountain, 29, walked away from the facility just before 10:30 a.m. Authorities say Fountain, a white male, is currently serving a two-year sentence for Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle in Comanche County.

Fountain, who is listed under inmate number #2019948, is considered a fugitive at large. Officials have issued a warning to the public, urging anyone who may have seen Fountain or have information regarding his whereabouts to immediately contact law enforcement.

The Oklahoma Department of Corrections advises that if spotted, members of the public should not approach Fountain. Instead, they should call 911 to report any sightings or information that could assist authorities in his recapture.

The circumstances surrounding Fountain’s departure from the correctional facility remain under investigation, and local law enforcement agencies are coordinating efforts to locate him.

The public is asked to remain vigilant, especially in the areas surrounding Comanche County, where Fountain has known ties. His escape has raised concerns, and the Oklahoma Department of Corrections is working swiftly to apprehend him.

Anyone with relevant information is encouraged to reach out to the Oklahoma Department of Corrections or local authorities.
