Lawton, OK – According to the state officials, participants will learn wing-shooting techniques at the WMA’s newly built shooting range, learn about squirrel hunting and how to hunt Oklahoma’s public land, and also learn about Lexington WMA.
Registration for the event is limited to 50 people. Lunch will be provided by the nonprofit group, Oklahoma Hunters & Anglers (OHA).
The OHA’s mission is to serve Oklahoma’s sportsmen and women by enhancing Oklahoma’s wildlife and fishery resources, our hunting and fishing heritage, and the conservation efforts of those who value our state’s fish and wildlife resources.
The Lexington Wildlife Management Area is 9,512 acres located off Highway 77 five miles south and six miles east of Noble, Oklahoma in Cleveland County.
Post oak-blackjack, also called cross timbers habitat, and native grasses overlay Lexington WMA.
