Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation to host Rack Madness event on March 5, offering scoring, prizes, and activities

Lawton, OK – The Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation will host its annual Rack Madness event on March 5, 2025, inviting hunters and outdoor enthusiasts to participate in a day of scoring, prizes, and family-friendly activities.

Attendees can bring deer and elk antlers, antelope horns, or bear skulls to be professionally scored by ODWC personnel. Scoring will be conducted on a first-come, first-served basis, with each participant allowed to submit up to two items. To qualify for scoring, antlers must be attached to the skull plate, whether mounted or unmounted, and all harvested animals must have been taken in Oklahoma.

The event will also feature a special giveaway, with participants having the chance to win an Oklahoma Lifetime Combination Hunting and Fishing License. The Oklahoma Wildlife Conservation Foundation will donate one license, while the Oklahoma State Game Warden Association will award another to a hunter who harvested a doe during the 2024-2025 deer season. Winners do not have to be present for the drawing, which will take place at 5:45 p.m.

In addition to the grand prizes, hourly giveaways will include items from the Go Outdoors Oklahoma shop. Pre-registration for the event is available online, and ODWC encourages participants to sign up in advance.
