Oklahoma – The Oklahoma Highway Patrol participated in the Bridging the Gap event at the Oklahoma County Juvenile Justice Center, connecting with youth currently on probation and their families.
Officials said the event focuses on strengthening relationships between young people, first responders, and community leaders through positive, low-stress interactions.
Troopers showcased equipment including a patrol unit, motorcycle, and BearCat armored vehicle, while engaging with attendees who asked questions and interacted with officers. The department emphasized the importance of building trust and encouraging positive connections with youth in the community.
