Lawton, OK – The Lawton Police Department reported that the roadway at 2nd and Lee has reopened following a traffic accident involving a downed line.
The department cautioned motorists that the road may be closed again later in the day for further repairs.
During the closure, drivers were encouraged to use Railroad Avenue as a detour and Gore Boulevard for east- and westbound travel.
The Traffic Division continues to monitor the area and urged residents to follow the department for updates and additional information.
