Lawton, OK – The Lawton Police Department thanked partners and attendees for making Project Safe Stop a success.
The event, held in collaboration with the Autism Foundation of Oklahoma, Lawton Emergency Communications, and Texas Roadhouse, offered an opportunity for community members to engage with officers and learn about autism.
Attendees discussed what it’s like to live with autism, while officers demonstrated how a traffic stop is conducted.
The department highlighted the strong turnout and expressed gratitude to everyone who participated.
