Lawton, OK – The Lawton Police Department has issued a traffic advisory for Saturday, June 14, 2025, as multiple roads will be closed in preparation for a local parade along Ft. Sill Boulevard.
According to a public notice released by the department, major thoroughfares—including Gore Boulevard, most of 11th Street, and Ft. Sill Boulevard along the designated parade route—will be temporarily closed to ensure the safety of participants and attendees.
Drivers traveling east and west through the area are encouraged to use alternate routes such as Lee Boulevard or Cache Road to avoid delays.
Officials are asking the public for patience and cooperation during the closures and are urging residents to plan ahead. “Give yourself extra time and stay alert,” the department advised.
