Lawton, OK – Lawton city officials thanked residents for attending the first-ever Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at City Hall on December 5.
The event featured cookies, hot chocolate, letters to Santa, and a surprise visit from Santa himself.
City leaders said the celebration provided a joyful way to kick off the holiday season and expressed gratitude for the community’s support and festive spirit.
