Lawton, OK – Lawton Police responded to a single-vehicle rollover accident on 52nd Street, just north of Lee Boulevard, earlier today, prompting a temporary lane closure in the area.
The crash, which occurred while traffic was active in the evening hours, resulted in the driver being transported to a local hospital for further evaluation. The extent of the driver’s injuries has not been released.
Traffic was initially reduced to one lane as members of the department’s Traffic Unit worked the scene. Authorities have since confirmed that the roadway has been cleared and normal traffic flow has resumed.
