Lawton, OK – Pets at the Benjamin O. Davis Highrise received holiday gifts this week through the City of Lawton’s Santa Paws program, made possible by donations from community members.
According to the City of Lawton, residents selected pets from a Santa Paws Tree and purchased Christmas gifts to support animals in need.
The donated items were delivered by employees and volunteers with Lawton Animal Welfare.
City officials said the effort helped provide comfort and holiday cheer to the pets while highlighting the community’s continued support for animal welfare programs.
Lawton officials thanked everyone who participated in the initiative, noting that the generosity of residents helped make the holiday season brighter for the animals involved.
