Lawton, OK – The City of Lawton has announced that contractors will be on-site at the City of Lawton Landfill on Monday, February 24, 2025, from 2 PM to 4 PM to perform the annual scale certifications and software updates.
This process, required to meet the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality and Department of Agriculture regulations, may result in minor traffic delays around the area.
However, the city has assured residents that disruptions will be minimal, as at least one scale will remain operational at all times during the procedure.
