Lawton, OK – The City of Lawton highlighted the efforts of three community volunteers who participated in Stream Clean Saturday despite cold and windy conditions.
Rockel, Golda, and Charles spent the past Saturday working along the east branch of Numu Creek in Harmon Park, where they collected an estimated 440 pounds of trash and debris.
City officials said their dedication helped improve the local waterway and contributed to keeping the surrounding area clean and welcoming.
The city expressed appreciation for the volunteers’ commitment to protecting the environment and supporting the community.
